Mist Luxury Resort

Resort was located at 10 minutes drive from main Ooty. They have clean individual villa type properties. We took 2 BHK villa on first floor which came with Hall, Kitchen , Balcony for 2 bedrooms & Covered Parking Spot. View from the room was super cool. Hospitality by Aji & his team were great. We can opt for Swiggy/Zomato since it is very close to main restaurants but they also have a caretaker who cooks food & deliver to us. Hot water was available in both the bathrooms & kitchen. We just need to be careful in taking the road to the property as it will be little steep, but it’s worth a drive for the stay. Price was also very affordable for this stay.

Update based on the response from owner: Simple question - Why this is not updated in Agoda? While you are not Agoda, but please do understand this is "your" property which is available for booking. I understand people cancel at the last moment but isn't that the point of booking with a travel partner, there may be change in plans. If your resort is having such rush why you are bothered with last minute cancellation? Moreover even for Agoda if I cancel at last minute there is 100% cancellation charges which will be recovered from the customer through their saved credit card. So where is the problem? I clearly mentioned in the first line itself that I didn't stay at the resort, the review was based purely on the booking experience. You do not even want that :) =================================================== While I did not stay at this resort, I had booked for a day for my family through Agoda where it was clearly mentioned that the amount has to be paid at the resort while check in. However I got several emails from the resort to pay an advance to confirm the booking a week before the check in, so decided to cancel it. They haven't mentioned any such criteria in Agoda but still demanded an advance to confirm booking else the booking would be cancelled. Not really a good experience even before visiting the place.

There are many drawbacks with this resort, but still has some good pros. Good location and scenic., you get to see the beautiful mountain & plantations from your balcony. Friendly nature of the person Ajeel who manages the resort. Cons-No Internet, no catering at the location, food can be ordered from their restaurant which is in the junction. Tile floored and will be ice cold cannot walk bare foot I would suggest to do wooden floor pasting. Most of the switches does not work so less lights which appears dull inside the room. Not enough plug points in the rooms. Overall, you will enjoy the stay because of its scenic beauty. Rest of the cons mentioned need to managed ourselves. Not a bad facility though even after seeing the cons listed. Expect less & you will enjoy!!

Hey All… here’s a few of my cents on the trip and stay ….We were family of 4 traveling to Ooty and stayed at Misty Cottage Resort , Cottage 1, Hobart Enclave Funcity junction Ooty… we were in Cottage 1 , to call it as luxury is an over over exaggeration. But it was quite decent stay hot water in morning’s and evening’s and basic fasciitis like washroom and place to make coffee tea … Mr AJIL was our cottage in charge so he was very courteous and helpful and very friendly available all the time we called. Few things you will miss is a lack of dining table so literally we had to sit on the floor and eat kind of simple people things … also no washing m/c or even no cloth stand to either dry towels or place clothes on. No hangers Bo Towels , So these basic things missing. To put it simply, it’s like a 2 bed house … get all that you can pack with you. Paper cups plates spoons some cushions towels drinking bottles as no plastic bottles are available. Also it’s best if you’re driving in your own car cause the accommodations kind off way off the main roads and you might need to book taxis for full day rides if you don’t have cars , but we were fine as we drove around in our own car. All in all the accommodation was fair enough for a normal families stay , cause remember you are there to roam around and go around town and places not going there to stay in a hotel room full day Ootys good enough for a max 3 days stay excluding traveling .. the most fun is in the drive through the forest side and by the tall tall trees and wonderful tea plantation views and so on … Nothing much to enjoy at the destination.

It was great stay in Mist Resort.. we really enjoyed lot and climate was so chill .. Room service was great and they responded very quickly.. MR Ajil was very coordinative and rendered good service.. Room was neat and clean .. I suggest few things if there is dining table it would be good since floor was very chill and can't able to sit down and some kitchen accessories like inductive stove and pan for making coffee and tea .. Rest everything was perfect we enjoyed lot ..We had pet with us and they allowed to keep them inside

An Awesome Home Away From Home Experience at Mist Resorts in Ooty. This venue is ideal for anyone looking for a serene and peaceful Villa stay away from crowds and still reasonably close to the tourist and market places. The facilities are very good. Dedicated car parking, always ON hot water in all rooms, 200% flexibility in any requests, Clean rooms and daily routine clean up including the utensils, Excellent views from balconies and the most important of all is Excellent hospitality from Ajil & Entire Mist Resorts Team!!!! Kudos to Ajil & Entire Team for the excellent service!!!! The venue is definitely recommended for families with kids, friends group for an excellent relaxed vacation experience!!!
